NeoGenix at the ALPHA 15th Biennial Conference in Dubrovnik

We were delighted to have NeoGenix represented by our CTO Dr Saeed Fathi at the ALPHA Scientists In Reproductive Medicine 15th Biennial Conference in Dubrovnik. A beautiful back drop for a conference bringing together the global experts in IVF.

Saeed presented two pieces of work from our team:

  • Deep learning AI co-pilot (SpermSearch.AI) for accelerated rare sperm identification in poor-prognosis non-obstructive azoospermia, showcasing how AI-assisted real-time localisation can support embryologists working through the most challenging surgical sperm retrieval cases.

  • A biomimetic sperm selection device for routine sperm selection, our Runner up RBMO Robert G Edwards prize paper demonstrating a passive, motility-based approach to isolating high-quality sperm for use in routine IVF and ICSI workflows.

Together, these projects reflect NeoGenix's focus on translating practical sperm selection technologies into clinical IVF workflows, bridging deep learning, microfluidics, and andrology to deliver tools that fit the realities of the modern embryology lab.

Thank you to everyone who came by to say hi, asked thoughtful questions, and shared their own perspectives on where the field is heading. Conferences like ALPHA remind us how collaborative the reproductive medicine community is, and we left with plenty of ideas to take back to the bench.

Looking forward to the next event.
