IVMF Sperm Selection Device

The IVMF Sperm Selection Device is designed to replicate the intricate trajectory of natural sperm selection through the female reproductive tract. Operating over a 30-minute window, the platform streamlines workflow efficiency and minimizes the time sperm spend in vitro. We use these biologically inspired microchannels that mimic the grooves of the cervix and entrance to the fallopian tube to separate sperm that can navigate those geometries from those that cannot. Washed and motile sperm are then collected from the device without the use of centrifugation, and the sperm are ready to be used for fertilisation.
