Our SpermSearchAI is a convolutional neural network trained to instantly identify sperm in severe male-factor infertility cases in which sperm are extremely rare, addressing a long-standing need for work process streamlining in the IVF laboratory. SpermSearchAI can detect both motile and immotile sperm in real time during sperm searches of testicular tissue or semen. It can drastically reduce time taken to screen samples and select sperm for intracytoplasmic sperm injection or sperm freezing.
